Sajid Mehmood is the co-founder and CEO of Niteshift, the full-stack cloud for coding agents. Backed by Greylock, Amplify, and BoxGroup, Niteshift lets engineers run any frontier coding agent in the cloud with their full dev environment for end-to-end verification.
Previously, Sajid was VP of Engineering at Datadog, where he launched several product lines, including Serverless Monitoring, Network Performance Monitoring, and Cloud Cost Management. He also started and oversaw Datadog's Applied AI group, which trained the state-of-the-art time-series foundation models Toto and Toto 2 and shipped Bits SRE, one of the first developer-facing AI agents, launched in August 2023.
Before Datadog, Sajid was the founding CTO of fintech unicorn Taptap Send and a software engineer at Google, where he worked on cross-datacenter networking. He graduated summa cum laude from Princeton with a BSE in Computer Science, where he published research on data visualization and computational biology.
