Kent C. Dodds is a world renowned web development educator and engineer. He's actively involved in the open source community. He is the creator of EpicProduct.engineer, EpicWeb.dev, EpicAI.pro, EpicReact.dev, and TestingJavaScript.com. He's a Microsoft MVP, GitHub Star, instructor on egghead.io and Frontend Masters, live streamer, and podcaster. Kent is married and the father of six kids and he lives in Utah.

Dodds pivoted from web-development education to AI/MCP-focused work in 2025, launching the EpicAI.pro learning platform (announced April 2025) and delivering his keynote 'The New User Interaction Model' across many conferences through the year — CascadiaJS, Microsoft MCP Dev Days, the AI Engineer World's Fair and others (he counts 9 presentations of the talk over 16 trips to 7 countries). His thesis is a 'post-browser' future in which developers expose their apps to AI assistants ('Jarvis') via the Model Context Protocol. He backs the vision with hands-on builds — adding semantic search to his own site with Cloudflare Vectorize, and migrating his 42k-line site to React Router v7 with Cursor — framed through an educator's lens of 'foundational principles and sound architectural practices.'
