Daniel Tao is Lead Principal Engineer for Dev Infra at Atlassian, responsible for technical leadership and development of solutions that power all of Atlassian’s engineering efforts. Dan previously served as Head of Engineering for multiple Atlassian products, including Confluence, Bitbucket, Compass, and DevOps Products. Dan's professional experience prior to Atlassian includes engineering roles at Google, ThoughtWorks, and multiple startups across a diverse set of industries including finance, law, entertainment, education, and retail.
