Armen Aghajanyan

Armen Aghajanyan combines frontier multimodal AI research (co-creator of Meta's Chameleon mixed-modal model and co-author of mixed-modal generative scaling laws while at FAIR) with hands-on founder experience building physical AI at Perceptron AI, which he co-founded and leads as CEO. In May 2026 Perceptron launched Mk1, a video-understanding and embodied-reasoning model positioned as matching frontier labs at a fraction of the cost. He offers first-principles thinking on multimodal model architecture and the practical hurdles of going from research lab to production physical AI.
