Building a Safe Software Factory

Coding agents have made code cheap to write, and teams are shipping 10× more changes than they did two years ago. Human review was built for human speed, so the industry is moving from reviewed PRs to automated software factories. At Gitar and Sonar, we are learning how to build a safe software factory, with layers of verification across the system. We'll share what we've been learned so far, and where we think this trend is headed.
